Policies

We have formulated a number of Policies to make sure that patients are well aware as to how we practice, and what to expect when they attend. 

We appreciate your time in reading them before your appointment.

 

Results

Tests are often organised as a result of a meeting, and a follow-up appointment is recommended so as to review the result and discuss the appropriate management and next steps. Occasionally, you may be referred back to your referring doctor for the result. We do not discuss results over the phone as we prefer to do this in person, as there is less chance of miscommunication.

 

Privacy

Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. We will use your personal information only in relation to your health, and will do our utmost to ensure its security.

 

Reminders

All our appointments are made electronically, often for many weeks, months (or even years) in the future. We therefore attempt to contact (via SMS or phone call) all patients in the week prior to the appointment in order to remind you of the appointment and to ensure that the timing is appropriate for you. If not, a new appointment will be made. 

 

Messages

Although we do not conduct telephone appointments if you have a simple question of the doctor feel free to ring the rooms and leave a message with the receptionist. They will pass the message on to the doctor, who will usually answer within a few days.

 

Fees

Fees do vary between doctors and locations. Please enquire when you ring up for an appointment.
